This week, Minister for Defence Personnel Matt Keogh MP will visit the United Kingdom.
Minister Keogh will represent Australia at Remembrance Day commemorations in London, and undertake a number of engagements with his UK counterparts to continue support for Defence personnel, veterans and families.
The Minister will visit His Majesty’s Naval Base Devonport, where the UK undertakes operational, training and maintenance activities for its naval fleet, including deep level submarine maintenance.
He will meet with Australian Defence Force personnel deployed on Operation Kudu, part of the multinational program to train Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel in the United Kingdom.
Minister Keogh will meet with Invictus Games Foundation officials ahead of the next Games, to be held in Birmingham, UK in 2027.
